Prologue- The bet

'It was a rainy day, and the patriarchs of the Takahashi family were traveling in their private jet as normal. The plane's motor broke and it crashed, killing all aboard. Now their whole fortune would go directly to her youngest daughter, Akari. The problem was that Akari was still a minor, so her stepbrother Tetsuya would take care of everything until she turned eighteen. Tetsuya was always jealous of his stepsister and he thought that all their fortune would go to him, cause he was the oldest. Awakened- Meruse's storyAwakened

I was awakened by an incessantly beep and the rays of sun on my face. When I incorporated in the bed I discovered that I was in a luxury white hospital room, with multiple cables around me, the beep came from the machine that was connected.
Suddenly a shrill voice broke the silence, it was a nurse dressed in white who ran out of the room shouting "Doctor, doctor She 's awakened. " I felt confused, not knowing what was going on and still less why I was in hospital.

Two people came along the doctor and nurse that I saw before, at first I didn't recognize them as my parents cause they seemed much older than when I saw them this mornAwakened- Meruse's story by ~Alislair

Kaoru appeared behind me, saying we had to talk. He took my hand and we started running. Many students were looking at us but I didn't care about it , cause there's nothing wrong with going hand in hand with a friend.
